This LED light base is a necessary addon for the LED Engravable Acrylics. If you wish to have those engravings light up, you'll need this base (which if you buy the specific LED engraving base for this LED light they have the necessary tab to slide into the slot on this base).
You only need to buy one then you can interchange all LED Engraved acrylics with this one base. But if you wish to have more than one lit up at one time, you'll need to purchase as many as you'd want lit concurrently.
You can use batteries (3 AAA) or the included USB cord with a phone charging block (not included) to power this LED light. Can be turned on with remote (included) or the touch power button on the base itself.
